Advertising Europe
Despite a challenging macro environment and heightened geopolitical tensions, the digital advertising market in Europe accelerated in 2024 according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s annual report. Last year in Europe the digital advertising market grew 16% compared to the 11.1% growth rate recorded in 2023. At EUR 118.9 billion, the digital ad market in Europe is just under half the size of the US market, but is gaining ground. Following trends in the US, social media advertising is expanding at the fastest rate in Europe, while search remains the dominant segment.
