Jeans not in jeopardy
Wide leg jeans, low rise jeans and baggy jeans are in fashion judging from Google search volume. Skinny jeans, mom jeans and “boyfriend jeans” are over for now. Jeans are a fashion staple, a rather contradictory term, because jeans stay in fashion but just take on different shapes. In the US, about 25% of adults wear jeans daily according to a recent survey by polling company YouGov among more than 14,000 people. Younger people wear jeans less on a daily basis compared to their older peers as they like to vary what they wear more. But the jeans are still very popular among younger adults, given 44% the 18 to 29-year-old cohort wear jeans a few times a week.
