Sustainability sewn in
According to a global survey conducted by BCG, 75% of consumers look at sustainability as a minimum requirement for selecting luxury brands to purchase. Similarly, the Conference Board Global Consumer Confidence Survey found that 85% of millennials say it is extremely, or very important that companies implement programs to improve the environment. Within the luxury segment, animal welfare, limits on chemical usage, and recycling programs garner the most focus from shoppers.
